David Farrands a father of 2, who lives in Irondequoit has been convicted of possestion of stolen property in relation to my motorcycle thefts. His sentencing is scheduled for this week. Police served a Search warrent at his home and found several of my motorcyles and parts. They are in various stages of being stripped down. Unfortunately the police were unable to find enough evidence to convict him of the actual theft. We can only hope as a society that the judge will reconize what kind of low life this man is to steal from someone's home while they are overseas. The truth is he will mostly likly escape with probation and a restitution amount that represents a fraction of my actual loss. None the less, I am very thankful that the police and my friends worked hard to find my bikes. I never thought I would see them returned to me. I consider myself very lucky and I am very thankful. Perhaps karma has something far worse in store for thieves and scum like David Farrands.

I found this fun 350 the other day for $100. I have stripped it down and I am decided weather to make a small metric chopper or a Cafe Racer witht his bike. These small Jap bikes form the 60's and 70's are very easy to work on and cheap to reapir. I will post more pics of this one when I have decieded its fate.

Just about 1 year ago today while I was in Iraq my home was broken into and theives took a substatial part of my motorcycle collection. Thanks to the hard work of my sister, Nicole Robinson, various media outlets such as 13 WHAM's Edward Moody, the Democrat and Chronicle's Mark O'Hare, and 96.5 WCMF word got out and 100's of people e-mailed me their support and condolences. Also through the hard work of the Rochester Police Department a Suspect has been arrested. Officer Christoper Renz took the initial report and then handed it to Investigator Paul Friday and Bob Wexell. They built a case and Assistant District Attorney Kevin Fitzgerald will be prosecuting the Accused. I would like to thank each one of these people for their time and hard work. Last but not least I want to thank my friends and family that did what they could to help me. Carl Dickerson was first to arrive when the theft was discovered and my Father was also there to assist. Thank you to all who have helped.

While my passion is motorcycles from time to time I am presented with various business oppurtunities. Recently I have fallen into the bakery industry. Currently I am finalizing a deal to purchased a failed bakery on Monroe Avenue in Rochester. With any luck in the next few weeks The Half Baked Coffee and Cookie Company will open at 475 Monroe Ave. The space is currently occupied by the very susessful Big Deal Pizzeria. The bakery will be located inside the resturant and open late. I have long enjoyed cooking and after countless girlfriends enjoying my sweets have told me I should sell them I have decided to go public with my goodies. I think I will even have a motorcycle shaped brownie.

I have returned to Rochester to work on my construction site. I am very excited to complete my building. Once this structure is complete I can get down to business and start restoring some bikes. The summer has gone by so quickly. The construction project will keep me busy through out the winter and this spring I have several project bikes lined up. Please check out my construction page and watch my building as it progresses.

This is a pic of our newest find, and new project. Yesterday Tom Jr. and I picked this beauty out of a shed where it has been dying for decades. Now in our possesion it will get the neccesary TLC that it needs to be the bike it should! With a little elbow greese (aka WD-40) and a few $$ benjis $$ this baby will rise from the ashes like the pheonix and be AWESOME again!
